Mining the Ethereum Genesis Block on C64

This animation shows the creation of the Genesis Block on an 8-bit machine, Commodore 64.

C64 is introduced in 1982, and listed in the Guinness World Records as the highest-selling single computer model of all time.

Screen capture is created by real loading sounds and bars from analog data. Decrunching process (uncompressing data) is the garbled characters you see on the second phase, which is a real approach of assembly coders of C64 computers.

The Ethereum logo is created with PETSCII art.
